1. Zero Otto Nove
Location: 2357 Arthur Avenue, Bronx, NY 10458
If your parents are coming for a visit, you have a birthday to celebrate, or if you are just looking for a classier dinner this is my number one recommendation. In my opinion, Zero Otto Nove is one of the best sit down restaurants on Arthur. Their pasta is home made, and their specialty pizza's are cooked in a huge brick oven. After a delicious meal, their nutella pizza with powdered sugar on top is a great choice. Another great thing about Zero Otto Nove is the environment. It may not look like much when you walk in, but after a short walk down a hallway the restaurant opens up and it feels like you're in Italy!
2. Morrone Pastry Shop
Location: 2349 Arthur Avenue, Bronx, NY 10458
Located right next door to Zero Otto Nove, this is the perfect place to go if you opt not to eat Zero's nutella pizza. Morrone is my favorite pastry shop on Arthur. Their cappuccinos are delicious and the service is very friendly and fast. They have almost any kind of cookie you could imagine and their prices are reasonable!
3. Tino's Delicatessen
Location: 2410 Arthur Ave Bronx, NY 10458
If you are looking for something way more casual, Tino's is a great place to go. They make great sandwiches and even better hot pressed paninis. Tino's also has a lot of hot entrees that are delicious. They also have brick oven pizza. Tino's is also a great place to go for breakfast. They have great omelets and iced coffee and cappuccino's. Their outdoor seating is also a plus!
4. Simon's Deli
Location: 2479 Arthur Avenue Bronx, NY 10458
Another smaller sandwich shop with a large assortment of options is Simon's. Simon's has an enormous selection of sandwiches, heroes, and wraps. They also have burgers, fries, sweet potato fries, and onion rings. A personal favorite thing to get at Simon's are their milkshakes. If you are looking for a healthier option, Simon's has great salads too! Most of their meals also come with free chips and a water or soda. Much like Tino's, Simon's also has great breakfast food.
