Situated right next to Little Italy in the Bronx, the area around Fordham is home to numerous pizzerias. But which one offers the best slice? In this post we'll take a look at 3 Fordham pizza classics.
Pugsley's Pizza is located literally just off campus. And I mean it; it's right there. Pugsley's is so close that it's almost on campus, which is a major part of it's appeal to students. Its chicken rolls are a Fordham favorite, though it's regular slices leave a lot to be desired. The price is right though and, as I said, it is by far the closest to campus.
University Pizza is a bit farther away, but it's slices are also a bit better and their buffalo chicken rolls are legendary.
Bellini's is the furthest, and the most expensive, but by the best. They offer countless styles of specialty slices to satisfy whatever it is you crave. From pasta slices, to buffalo chicken, to eggplant, there is always something new to try.
There are many other options, and everyone has their own opinion, but for me, regardless of the price or distance, Bellini's is the way to go.
College is not college without pizza.
